Ordering a custom dance floor for your wedding is simpler than most couples expect. Here's the complete process at Designer Dance Floors — from first contact to installation day.

Step 1: Submit Your Quote Request

Start by submitting a quote request on our website or contacting us directly. You'll want to have the following information ready:

  • Your event date
  • Your venue name and city
  • Your approximate guest count (so we can suggest the right size)
  • Any design inspiration — Pinterest boards, colour swatches, invitation designs, or a general description of your vision

You'll receive a quote within 24 hours. No payment is required at this stage.

Step 2: Receive Your Design Proof

Once you confirm your quote, our in-house design team creates your custom design proof. This is a digital mockup of your exact floor — your colours, your monogram or pattern, your dimensions.

You'll receive your first proof within 24–48 hours of confirming. You can request unlimited revisions until you're completely happy with the design.

No payment is required to see your design proof. We create the design first — you pay only after approving it.

Step 3: Approve Your Design

Once you're happy with the design, you give us your approval. At this point, we'll collect a deposit to secure your production slot. The remaining balance is typically due before delivery.

Step 4: Production

After design approval, your floor goes into production. Our standard production timeline is 3–7 business days. Rush 48-hour production is available for an additional fee if your event is approaching.

We print on our in-house large-format press with vivid, photo-accurate colour reproduction. Every floor is inspected before shipping.

Step 5: Delivery and Installation

For GTA venues, we deliver and install directly at your venue. Our team handles the full setup — you don't need to be there, and we coordinate with your venue coordinator.

For orders shipped outside the GTA (Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa, etc.), the floor arrives carefully packaged and installation instructions are included. Many out-of-province couples have their venue or wedding coordinator handle installation.

Step 6: Enjoy Your Wedding

That's it. On your wedding day, your custom dance floor is waiting at your venue — exactly as you approved in your design proof. After the event, we arrange removal for GTA deliveries, or the floor can be kept as a keepsake.
